About Diane Exner

Cultivating Community is vital to how Diane Exner approaches life and art.

Proud to be a farmer's daughter, raised near Melville SK, Diane developed a deep love and passion for people and the great outdoors. With her desire for community, and longing to return to her country roots, she retired from a corporate career and refired her creative calling. 

 

Inspired by a treasured mentor and friend who shared,

"People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did,

but they will never forget how you made them feel,"

Diane thrives to pass that significance on through her work.

In early years she used graphite shading to bring subjects to life; today she has transitioned to digital, using a stylus and tablet. She loves the flexibility of being able to be on the move and take her studio with her. As a Creative, this allows her the freedom to create wherever, and whenever, she's inspired.
